Baptism & Communion on April 16th

Wednesday, April 16th, will be our next Fellowship Service. These mid-week services are a special time for us at CSF. These evening services are an awesome time of worship, prayer and inspiration. Moreover, these nights are special because we celebrate Baptism with people who have recently committed their lives to Christ. Baptism is an outward sign of an internal commitment that was made to Jesus Christ as a person chooses to become a Christian.

As you know, Baptism at CSF is a wonderful event that gets it's own special time. We don't hurry through our baptism time as just some quick ritual. We take time to let each person share personally why they are being baptized and what their new life in Christ mean to them. The individual baptism moments are the highlight of the night!

If you have never been baptized as a Christian believer and would like to do so on April 16th, please email rickf@charlottesouth.org

Also, on this night we will celebrate Communion. Again, this is a special time we get to share as a Fellowship of believers in Christ. We celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. Good times.......

Please make plans now to be here for this special night. Childcare is available for new born - kindergarten.

Today's Bible Reading 1 Corinthians 11

Verses 17-34 has Paul telling the church of Corinth about the priority of Communion and how it should be received. This is an important "sacrament" that we do as Christ followers. It is a time to Remember The Lord's sacrifice for us.

Today as you go through the rest of your day....take a few moments and thank God for the new life that you have because of the sacrifice of Jesus.
