Every Sunday at the Porch Cafe people tell us that if we took credit or debit cards then they would be able to buy coffee, snacks, books, T-shirts or whatever it is that we have for sale. Their reasoning.......people today never carry cash. I know I don't ever have cash in my possession anymore.

We have heard your cry......starting this Sunday CSF will accept Visa, Master Card and Discover for items sold at the Porch Cafe. Moreover, you will be able to pay for other things like summer camp, retreats, league fees for sports and the like. As a matter of fact we still have about eight Advent "kits" left from last night that you can purchase this way on Sunday.

Speaking of Sunday, we will be concluding our Out Of The Nest series this weekend. We will be talking about how we should teach our kids about money and possession. We need to teach our kids the value of a dollar, what are some dangers of money and credit and what is the truth about our desire for possessions.

What a great Sunday to introduce our new credit card machines.....
