Over Flow Sunday

Wow! Yesterday was a huge day at CSF. During the 10:30 service we had to bring in more chairs and seat people up in the balcony. Of course, the balcony does not have chairs yet... so those fine people sat on the carpet. Our parking team did a great job of parking people in every corner available and across the street at the warehouse.

Of course, this is great news! However, I need to ask many of our CSF regular attendees to please help us reach out to more people who come as our guests, by attending our 9am or noon service. The 9am service has the exact same kids and student ministries as the 10:30, and childcare from new born to kindergarten is provided at the noon service.

Our attendance was great yesterday! However, most importantly, is the fact that so many people are admitting that they have some challenges in their marriage and that this hard hitting series is proving very helpful. I've received feedback from so many people that they are glad to hear that what they are experiencing in their marriage is relatively normal for all marriages and that there is hope.

The hope comes from the grace, strength and wisdom of Jesus Christ. The hope comes from being involved in a life-changing Fellowship like CSF where you can be in positive relationships with people who are committed to the same values. At CSF you can be in a Home Team that encourages you to be the best you can be. At CSF you can attend our Sacred Marriage seminars next month. At CSF you find a place that is dedicated and committed to being a part of your entire life. We truly want to be a church that you can revolve your life around and "do life together" with people that love you and want what is best for you.

This type of complete life-change and what we call "Fellowship" does not happen once a week on Sunday. At CSF we are committed to creating environments here on our campus and in our city that minister to every person throughout the week. Here on our campus we want to provide a place that toddlers, kids, students, singles, men, women and couples can come and be apart of opportunities that will strengthen every arena of their life.

In 2008 we are looking to expand our ministries that we provide for the people of CSF. I love the fact that almost everyday their is life-changing opportunities going on here.

Today's reading is Acts chapter 4. The first four chapters of Acts detail exactly what we are about as a Fellowship. "Doing Life Together!"

Verse 13 stood out to me because it reminds us that we can all make a HUGE difference in our world and the only requirement....is that we have spent time with Jesus!
